DANGLES

 HSMI_FunBadge

DANGLES are a small mini-badges usually hung from a name badge to show various activities in which a dancer has participated.  They are sort of a whimsical way to say Been there, Done That.

A club will sometimes award a dangle for some club or dance associated event but more often it is the dancer who usually purchase the dangle.  Examples of dangles are for a convention or particular dance.  Other examples include one for dancing in a grass skirt for hawian night or another for dancing in a square with at least (3) callers. The Hayloft Steppers has its own dangle for a floating floor.

Dangles can be obtained during a convention or by special order from any of several vendors who deal with square dancing badges. (see our links page)
